What's included in your skip hire price?
Everything. Delivery, 14 days hire, collection, disposal, all taxes. No weight charges for general waste. Price quoted is price paid. Only extras: permits (if needed) which we arrange and asbestos disposal.
How quickly can you deliver a skip?
Same day for orders before noon. Emergency 2-hour delivery available for £50 extra. Standard next-day delivery across all London postcodes. Weekend delivery available at no extra charge.
Do I need a permit for a skip?
Only if placing on public highway or council property. Private driveways don't need permits. We handle all permit applications - typically £45-£120 depending on borough, takes 3-5 days. We know every council's requirements.
What can't go in a skip?
Prohibited items: Asbestos, lithium batteries, car batteries, gas cylinders, tyres, medical waste, hazardous chemicals, paint tins, fluorescent tubes, TVs/monitors, fridges/freezers. Additional charges apply for: Plasterboard (£25/tonne), mattresses (£15 each), sofas (£20 each). These aren't hidden fees - we're charged by licensed facilities to dispose of these items properly in line with environmental regulations. We'll always tell you upfront.
What if my skip gets overloaded?
Level loads only - legally can't transport overloaded skips. If overfilled, we'll need to remove excess before collection (charged at £50 + disposal). Tell us if you need a bigger skip - we can exchange same day.
Can you provide multiple skips for large sites?
Absolutely. Managing 50+ sites across London with multiple skips each. Volume discounts, dedicated account management, consolidated invoicing. Exchange service available for continuous projects.
What about restricted access sites?
Specialist narrow-access vehicles available for tight spots. Need minimum 2.5m width for 4-6 yard, 3m for 8-12 yard. Can't access? We offer wait & load service - fill the skip while driver waits.
Do you offer recycling skips?
Yes - segregated waste saves money. Wood-only, metal-only, inert-only (soil/concrete) skips available at reduced rates. Mixed waste is fine but costs more to process. 90%+ diversion from landfill.
What if I need to keep the skip longer?
First 14 days included. Extended hire £5/day for 4-8 yard, £8/day for 10-16 yard. Just WhatsApp to extend. Permit extensions we handle too (council charges apply).
Can I track my skip delivery?
Driver calls 30 minutes before arrival. WhatsApp updates throughout the day. Live tracking for account customers. Photo confirmation of placement. Full documentation for site records.
